Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins

An absolutely scrumptious way to use up overripe bananas!

  1. In a large bowl, stir together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt; add the chocolate chips.
  2. Blend together the bananas, butter, milk and eggs; with a fork, stir into the flour mixture just until blended.
  3. Don't overmix.
  4. Fill greased muffin cups three-quarters full.
  5. Bake in a 350 degree F oven for 25 minutes or until golden brown and firm to the touch.

These were very good! I subbed white whole-wheat flour for half the all-purpose, and baked as 12 full-size muffins and 12 mini muffins. Thanks for posting!
