The best banana muffin recipe I have found so far. The oatmeal adds a very nice texture to what could be an ordinary banana muffin. And of course you can't go wrong with chocolate chips. Thanks for a delicious recipe.

These were easy, included ingredients I had on hand, were easily adaptlable to family allergies, and tasted great. My children, who don't normaly like muffins, enjoyed these.

Very easy and yummy muffins! Love the flavor with chocolate chips. I just put the dry ingredients in with the wet and stirred all together. Made 12 small and 12 mini muffins.

Great muffins! I used 1/2 cup regular chocolate chips, no other changes. Texture was perfect, moist and tender inside, and muffins were perfectly domed. Will make again. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

These were just OK for us. I followed the recipe as written other then I cut back on the chocolate chips to 1/2 cup. These were good out of the oven but they really dried out after cooling. No one liked them but me.

When my daughter tasted these out of the oven, she took a bite and then handed the rest back to me. She would not eat them. And she does eat the Fiber One and other 'veggie' muffins, so she does eat 'healthy' type food. We prefer muffins that are lighter and cake like, these are dense and heavy. Mine did not rise at all. They are also a bit spongy in texture. I also prefer muffins with a bit more flavor -- maybe some extract and spices. Next time we'll make a banana bread recipe with chocolate chips, but as muffins. Good idea, just not as moist, flavorful, or as cakey as what we like.
