Banana Cake With Cream Cheese Frosting

Very moist and delicious with cream cheese frosting.

  1. Cream margarine and sugar.
  2. Add egg, bananas and vanilla.
  3. Blend well.
  4. Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  5. Add 1/3 of the dry ingredients to the banana mixture alternately with 1/2 of the milk.
  6. Blend after each addition.
  7. Pour into 9 inch square pan.
  8. Bake in 350F oven for 45-50 minutes.
  9. Cream Cheese Frosting: Beat cream cheese and butter together.
  10. Add powdered sugar to taste.

Cake Was delicous, Everybody loved it. Was'nt fussed on frosting. Yummy though try it. x

Ease of preparation using ingredients that are on hand. Made in 9x13 pan. Taste best with overly ripe bananas. We like to refrigerate overnight as it taste better the next day.
