    WyomingMoonDust's Note:

If you like bananas, you will simply fall for this cake. Better then muffins of bread recipes. Always a hit at the holidays and takes on 45 minutes from start to finish. * note* use the butter, not margarine.

I was also looking for a recipe besides banana bread to make. I had a new Nordicware pan to try out so this was a perfect marriage. Very light and delightful tasting; enjoyed the richness of the sour cream in the recipe. Cakes turned out perfectly and were served for a pre-Easter brunch. I covered them with the thinnest layer of glaze from your powdered sugar and orange juice without the butter. Delicious! Made for Spring PAC 2010.

Made this today for tonights dessert. Did just like it was written. Loved the simplicity and the fact I could use up some bananas out of the freezer without making banana bread for a change. Mine was done in 35 minutes. Thanks for posting this, WyomingMoonDust.
