This is the best recipe I ever tried from the net, I didn't have butter milk though so I used instead full fat milk and it came out beautifully.
my kids loved it since it's very moist and juicy, unlike many of other recipes.
I would change one thing next time, reduce the icing sugar amount on the icing, it came out a bit too sweet to our taste. but as a whole. This is THE recipe for Banana cake.
I made this today,It was wonderful, a lot lighter than it looks and not overley sweet. I will make this my permanent banana cake recipe! Thanks
Well, mine is still in the oven...smells great. But, I am not at a higher elevation, and it has been an hour, and still just batter in the middle. It is not even close to being done. I am taking the previous reviews advice, turned it up to 325 and we'll see if it gets done in time.
amazing cake, but at 7500 feet elevation, I had to cook an extra 25 minutes at 325 to get it cooked....
