  1. I added 1/2 cup chopped walnuts and the family ate one loaf in one sitting. Very easy and not too much mess.

  2. This recipe has got thumbs up......excellent turnout, though i did include walnuts and a dash of cinnamon. It was sooo good that my husband who is not a fan of banana cake had a huge chunk of it...i will definitely make it again and have already passed the recipe on to my family....though i thought that the sugar was a bit tooo much in quantity.will try to substitute half of it with brown sugar next time. keep it up suzanne!!!! and thank you..

  4. My mom makes a banana bread recipe that calls for cake mix and pudding. It is SO good, but I wanted to find a recipe that I could make without all the mixes, and this one is the best I have come across so far! I added an additional 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla and 1/2 teaspoon of banana extract to intensify the flavors. With those additions, this recipe is almost a twin of my mom's cake mix banana bread recipe!! Thanks for a wonderful recipe!! I will make this for many years to come!

  5. This is a great banana bread recipe. I keep searching for good ways to use up the too ripe bananas and this is perfect. I will definitely try with chocolate chips sometime as another reviewer suggested. Thanks!
