This was so yummy I printed this one out and added it to our Cookbook Binder at home and my sister made this last night and by this morning there was just a slice left. Really yummy. This one will be a fave of ours in this house. Even if I have to make an other loaf and hide it from the rest of the family.
This was wonderfull!!!!! it did'nt even last a day my husband wolfed it down.The only thing I added was some cinnamon even our 1yr.old loved this I'll definitly make this again!!!!

Followed recipe to the letter, plus added a few chopped walnuts. Easy, easy to put together and so delicious.

This is the exact recipe my grandmother & mother always used. It is wonderful -- very moist with a nice top crust. Occasionally, I'll add a half cup of nuts (walnut or pecan pieces).
this recipe makes a delicious bread although it was a little dense which i'm sure it's my fault (not the recipe). I used 1/2 cup of brown sugar and only about 2 tablespoon of vanilla sugar. Posted a pic too. Managed to get 1 small loaf and 6 muffins. Yum yum...
Very good. I'll cook it for less than the whole hour next time.
