"This is the Banana Bread I grew up on, Its Delicious!!!"

ingredients

• 2 cups sugar
• 1⁄2 cup shortening
• 2 eggs
• 3 cups flour
• 1 pinch salt
• 1 1⁄2 teaspoons baking soda
• 8 -10 tablespoons buttermilk
• 3 bananas, mashed
• 1⁄2 cup nuts, Chopped (optional)

directions

1. 1. Mix in Order Given.
2. 2. Add Baking Soda to Buttermilk.
3. 3. Grease and Flour Loaf Pan.
4. 4. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
