This recipe was passed down from my grandmother. The banana bread is always a big hit and the recipe is always requested by others. I sometimes add raisins and pecans.

  1. Mash bananas with fork. Stir in other ingredients. Pour into greased and floured loaf pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Pecans my be added to batter or sprinkled over top when you pour it into the pan if you wish. Makes 1 loaf.

This recipe is absoluety great! I just wish my camera was not broken because it made a beautiful loaf and tasted even better. Easy to make and the finished product is a moist, and very tasty sweet bread. Thanks for the great recipe.
