I made this for the 2012 Pick A Chef in the Contests forum. This was a good bread, I likhe texture of the bread it was delicious ss well. I have also been informed that I am to make this recipe again for my daughter!!
Very good Banana Bread, was not dense or heavy and had great flavor. The bread turned out moist and had the riht amount of sweetness. Definitely a keeper.
What a great recipe! The texture is almost cake-like, as if pastry flour had been used instead of all-purpose; and it couldn't be more moist. A classic; so easy to make. I won't be looking at other banana bread recipes. This one goes into my file.
