No fail recipe that goes back generations in my family.
- 3 bananas, very ripe and mashed
- 1⁄2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1⁄4 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1⁄4 teaspoon cinnamon
- Cream together sugar, egg, butter, cinnamon and vanilla.
- Mix in bananas.
- Stir in flour and soda, but do not over mix!
- Pour into a greased and floured loaf pan and bake in a 300* oven until knife comes out clean.
Made this wonderful banana bread for Phot Swap. This is so easy to prepare and oh so tasty!!! Made as is except I added about 1/2 cup of mini chocolate chips. Baked it for about 45 minutes in a 350F oven. Thanks Wildflower! :)
