Banana Bread

"About 25 years ago, when money was tight, as part of my birthday gift, my sister compiled a scribbler filled with all her favorite recipes. This recipe for banana bread was one of them. I know there are numerous recipes for banana bread on this site, but have been asked to post this one after I posted photos of this sweet bread in the Cooking Photos Forum."

  1. Extremely moist and flavorful. My kids loved it! I had problems with the edges becoming a little burnt before the center was cooked through, but they ate the burnt edges and all. :) I used a 8-inch loaf pan, so next time I'll try a 9-inch to see if that helps it bake more evenly. One of the best basic banana breads we've tried, and we've tried a lot! Thanks for sharing!
