  • Beat eggs in a small bowl.
  • Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a medium bowl.
  • Cream butter and sugar in a large bowl. Add eggs and beat well.
  • Gradualy add flour and bananas, alternating, untill fully incorporated. Stir in nuts.
  • Pour into a greased loaf pan and bake for 70 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  1. I doubled the recipe and made 3 big loaves. Very good, moist and tasty. I cooked all three loaves together at 350 for about 55 minutes.
     
  2. Yummy banana bread, especially warm. Easy to make and slices nicely. I baked at 350F for about 45 minutes. Thanks for posting this, I was looking for a way to use up three bananas and this was lovely.
