Banana Berry Smoother

"Cooling lunch in a glass."

• Ingredients: 3
• Serves: 2

ingredients

• 1 1⁄2 cups chocolate milk
• 1 banana
• 1 cup strawberry

directions

1. Peel banana.
2. Wash and cut stems off strawberries.
3. Place all ingredients in blender.
4. Blend until smooth.
5. Pour into tall glasses.
6. Garnish with a whole strawberry, cut half through and place on edge of glass.

Yummy and really worth every star! I had "just" this for lunch this afternoon and as you can tell, I loved it! I halved this recipe and it made 1 proper serving - i.e., 1 glass. Really nice to have this in the summers and when you feel you deserve a treat for something you've achieved after alot of hard work. Thank you for posting this recipe. I'll repeat this one in the coming summers. Thanks!

I made this for my DH. He was iffy but glad I chose to make this for him. I chose to make this at dinner time then put this in the freezer. To top it off I added some vanilla ice cream to top it off. Excellant!

Chocolate Berry good! I used a mix of frozen berries. This was delish.I expected an ugly color using chocolate and berries. As you see it came out very pretty deep red.

Pretty nice smoothie. I made my own chocolate milk with a thick skim milk from a local dairy and some Hersheys syrup. I also used frozen berries and a frozen banana to give it that thick icy texture. My only problem was that none of the flavors stood out. It was a decent blend of all three, but not a very distinctive taste. I ended up adding another tbsp of chocolate syrup to it and that helped a little. Maybe if the berries were sweeter (frozen berries don't tend to be very sweet in my opinion) it would give it more of a strawberry taste. Great to try, though!
