- 29.58 ml flax seeds
- 1 unfrozen ripe banana
- 118.29 ml fruit (any combination, such as strawberries, blueberries, pineapple, papaya, mango, mamey, banana, etc)
- 78.78 ml ice
- 78.78 ml chilled water
- honey or sugar
directions
- In a food processor, grind flax seed.
- Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend well. If your the resulting mixture is not fluid slowly add more water until at the desired consistency.

<p>I am on a health quest which involves determining what to eat to encourage healing and health in my body. I have celiac disease which is managed by eating a gluten free diet. I am also lactose/casein and soy intolerant. I am also avoiding foods that rank high on the glycemic index since my family is predisposed to developing type 2 diabetes.
