Quick and easy.
- 1⁄4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 3⁄4 cup olive oil
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 6 fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
- Combine all ingredients in a jar; cover tightly, and shake vigorously.
- Store in the refrigerator.
I added a bit of minced garlic and used sage instead of basil. Turned out fine over a green salad
