Balsamic Vinaigrette

This is a sweet tasting vinaigrette that is great for salads and easy to make and is lo-carb tho it works well with sugar too. Step one is important for the sugar/splenda to disolve. You can add spices if you like.

This was a great base for a balsamic vinaigrette, but I found I needed to add a few things to make it perfect for our tastes. I added 1/4 cup grated parmesan, 1/2 t of salt, 1/2 t pepper and reduced the splenda to 3 T. I used my immersion blender to emulsify...yum!

  1. Mix Splenda and balsamic vinegar together.
  2. Add olive oil and shake to mix.
