ingredients
- 473.18 ml cherry tomatoes or 473.18 ml chopped tomatoes
- 236.59 ml sliced sweet onions or 236.59 ml red onion
- 118.29 ml fresh basil
- 236.59 ml vinaigrette, recipe follows
- 157.80 ml white balsamic vinegar or 157.80 ml balsamic vinegar
- 78.78 ml olive oil
- 14.79 ml dried basil
- 2.46 ml salt and pepper, to taste
- 2.46 ml Dijon mustard
directions
- Slice cherry tomatoes in half, chop other tomatoes to suit your taste. Slice onion, it only takes one, in thin half or quarter moons.
- Mix remaining ingredients. I use a Bullet or food processor to make this step really easy.
- Roll basil leaves and slice into thin ribbons at the last minute.
- Toss it all together, put it on the table and get out of the way.
