I only pre-cooked the beans a short time, as we like our vegetables more on the crunchy side. Made for Every Day Holiday Tag. :)
We loved these green beans! I used a 28 ounce can of cut green beans and added them to the balsamic vinegar mixture. Just the right amount of sweet and tart flavor and the parmesan cheese is wonderful. I think this will be our new vegetable recipe for Thanksgiving. Thank you Caroline for posting! Made and reviewed for PAC Fall 2008.
We liked it but it tasted too much balsamic vinegar. Next time, I'll reduce the amount. I liked the addition of parmesan cheese. It's a must :) Thanks Caroline :) Made for Holiday tag.
This was pretty good. I was surprised by how much the beans absorbed the all the flavors. I'd make this again but I think next time I'd cut back a little on the vinegar because it was a bit strong for us. Thank you for sharing!
We loved this, will make again and again!!Thanks.
Nice for a change. I had to use some frozen beans as well as fresh but feel the fresh beans were best. The flavours blend well especially with the parmesan cheese. :)
Excellent! I used 12 ounces of cleaned and cut green beans that I microwaved for 4 minutes. Skipped the garlic salt and used granulated garlic. The cheese is a must so good! This is quick and very easy with lots of flavor.
