This was awesome. I discovered, accidentally, by drizzling the balsamic syrup on the plate it will harden like caramel. When you lay the hot meat on it it melts and is absorbed by the steak for an even more flavorful bite every time. I plan to try this on other meats. Thanks for a great recipe!
Wow, this had great flavor. Had to wait about 30 min to get the reduction but it is worth the time put into it. May try next on a pork loin, they always need some help.
Excellent, flavorful sauce with just a few ingredients. The balsamic reduction is so delicious, complex enough for adults, yummy enough for kids. We will definitely make this again.
DH and I made this steak for dinner last night and thought it was delicious! I used tenderloin steaks in place of T-bone and it still worked out perfectly. The balsamic sauce was a perfect compliment to the herb and garlic steak. This was very easy to prepare with ingredients I typically have in my kitchen. We will definitely make this steak again. Thanks for posting!
Very tasty steak! This was quick and simple to prepare. Definitely be sure that your stead is at least the full inch thick. Our steaks were a little thinner and ended up a little salty My husband thought the steak was very good without the balsamic sauce, but I loved the tangy sweetness that the sauce added. We'll definitely make this recipe again!
Excellent. I did not add the dried thyme and used kosher salt. Wonderful flavor. It took about 40 minutes to get the balsamic vinegar to reach that syrupy texture, but so worth it. Great addition to our t-bones tonight. Thanks
