Can't remember where this came from but have been making it for years.
- 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1⁄2 cup extra virgin olive oil, mild & fruity
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- cracked pepper
- Mix garlic into the oil and rest for several hours to remove the harsh garlic edge.
- Add the other ingredients and shake well in a jar.
- The dressing should be used within several days or refrigerated, as garlic will go rancid.
