Nice and simple dessert. I sampled a couple different combinations. The first combination included walnuts, pecans and pistachios. I wasn't a big fan of the pistachios. The secound round, I mixed pecans, sugar, cinnammon and nutmeg and loved it. The third combination, I used roasted chopped pecans with sugar and drizzled nutella, which I loved.
Delicious and super easy! I doubled the recipe and took to our neighborhood Holiday House Hop. They are gorgeous and so easy to throw together. I doubled the recipe and the ingredient amounts were spot on. I used a combo of almonds, walnuts & pecans. I added about 1/16 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, which was lovely. Thanks for posting!
Love this recipe. I agree that 8 minutes is a little too long to bake them. I used the mini shells and went with 4 mins, and they were just right. I also added just a little spot of butter on top before I baked them, Nummers!!
I was looking for something to delight my husband and his parents for dessert after a simple dinner. They had lived in Turkey for a while and my husband constantly lamented the lack of good Baklava at any of the Mediterranean restaurants in our area. Pistachios are a must if you want this to be authentic, but I'm not a fan of them myself so I made some with and some without. My family loved this treat and it was so very simple to make!
These were great! So easy, but an elegant addition to the cookie tray. I used Emerald's Candied Pecans instead of the mixed nuts. Thanks Redneck!

Mixed walnuts almonds and pecans, with sugar and cinnamon. baked for 5 min. Substituted some of the water for fresh fresh lemon juice and a couple of drops of rose water.

These are great! I made them for my daughter's graduation dinner since she loves this dessert at the greek restaurant. They were so simple to make and tasted rich and delicious. I'm sure I will make again. Thanks for posting!
