I mixed in 1 cup Parmesan cheese with the Mozzarella, as we love it. Other than that followed the recipe with good results. Tasty and quick to throw together during the busy week! I will add spices in the sauce next time too for more flavor.

This is very good! I added some cooked italian sausage to the sauce and just mixed the parmesan cheese right in with the ricotta.

i made a double portion of this and it got gobbled up. i added a bag of morningstar farms crumble to the cheese mixture as well and my family loved it the second time i made this i mixed the sauce into the cheese mixture and that spread the tomato flavor throughout the dish.

I just made this dish last night. It was very good. I also added ground beef as some other reviewers did. My only complaint is that it needed more sauce. I think the meat sucked up most of it. Next time I will add more sauce, but other than that it was very tasty. MY DH had 3 servings!! Thank you for posting!!

Fantastic! Very easy. I used a whole box of pasta and used a 24 oz container of cottage cheese in place of Ricotta. I used Vodka sauce instead of regular tomato. My dinner guests loved it and asked for the recipe. I boiled the pasta and prepared the casserole the day before and just popped it in the oven an hour before dinner. Perfect with garlic bread and a salad.

Absolutely LOVE this recipe. I have made it a few times and the first time didn't have as much sauce as I liked so the next time I added another half a can of sauce, also I use cottage cheese instead of ricotta since I am not a big fan of ricotta. I eat dinner at work and am always looking for meals that are good when heated up and this is absolutely wonderful. Thanks Junebug.

Great ziti recipe! I prefer my ziti meatless and this was great. I used shredded mozzarella cheese mixed with the ricotta and slices of mozzarella on top. I also added about a tsp. of italian seasoning and some black pepper to the cheese mixture. Tasted great and was very moist. Thank you for sharing this terrific recipe!

A quick and easy way to prepare a tasty and filling pasta dish, originally from Mr. Food. Just use your favorite bottled spaghetti sauce. You can use any shape of pasta. I do add more cheese, but I love cheese!
