Baked Turkey Paleo Meatballs

A Paleo version of turkey meatballs. Works for all low carb diets. No frying required! Will be good with any vegetable!

I needed a paleo turkey meatball recipe and this one was easy to prepare and tastes delicious! I added two Italian turkey sausage links (casing removed) and used a smaller scoop (1 1/2 inch) to make the meatballs. It yielded 25 meatballs, but keep in mind I added the two links of turkey sausage. I had to make additional almond flour "crumbs" but this was easy enough to do. I like it because it is simple and has all the ingredients I have on hand.

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Combine all ingredients (without topping) and use your hand to form into 2-1/2 inch diameter balls. Roll the meatballs in the almond meal topping and place them on a cookie sheet. Makes 15 meatballs. Bake 20-25 minutes, until browned and cooked all the way through.
