Delicious Bergy! I used 3 pork loin chops (bone in) and cut down on the brown sugar and sherry (just a little) Served with the sherry flavoured apples over top of chops, Sweet and just a little tangy. Yum!

these pork chops were delicious!! We loved the apples and cinnamon and the sherry was a lovely touch. I just couldn't stand seeing all that lovely stuff on the bottom of the frypan from browning the chops so I deglazed the pan with the sherry (I used a little extra to make up for the steam loss) and poured it over the chops, lovely brown stuff!! I also used splenda brown sugar mix. All and all it's a wonderful flavourful dinner and the aroma while cooking is out of this world. Thanks for posting, I'll be making these again. Oct 23/08, made this for DH for supper tnight, he sure does love them, the apples are delicious and the pork tender, thanks again!

Wonderful, Bergy! The house smelled like a Fall afternoon in the apple orchard store sipping apple cider in Ohio. I felt the love of those memories while these pork chops baked. I too spooned the apple mixture on top each chop to serve them. I used Jonagold apples and they stayed in tact with that baked apple pie flavor. Our daughter said, "This is a different dish, and very good!" She isn't a pork chop lover, but was quite pleased with this recipe, as were my husband and I. It's a keeper! Thanks for filling me with beautiful memories of Ohio, Bergy! The entire cooking and eating was a great time for all of us.

This was a great recipe and it does make the house smell great. I didn't have any sherry so I used dry red wine. It was great. I would add dried cranberries if I had some. I think that would be good. I will make it again.

This is superb! Forgot the salt & pepper by mistake...no problem. this is easy, fast, aromatic and pretty. Served with a salad and cheezy mashed potatoes, outstanding and DW loved it too. A keeper for sure.

This is a recipe I've made over and over again!!! I love that the pork chops come out just as tender as cooking them all day in a slow cooker! Make sure to chop the apples coarsely or they come out a bit mushy. Thanks for this simple and delicious recipe, Bergy!
