  1. This recipe was very tasty and easy to put together. We used 4 pork loin centre cut chops, 1/2 of a large red onion (next time I will use 2 onions as stated, as they give a nice flavour and are good to eat with every bite!)and 1/2 the amount of salt. Our cooking time was the 1 hour exactly and the chops were nice and tender.Served with a baby greens salad.

  2. WOW!!!! We had this last night for dinner. We got up this morning still talking about it. Sure will be a big keeper for us. I did not change nothing. But....Next time I am going to put it in the crockpot.I think it will turn out good. I will let you know. This is so very to make. We just loved how easy and tasty it was. No left overs for today. Thank You.

  3. I made these for dinner the other night and served it with some green beans (recipe#25787). I did not brown my pork chops because I didn't read that part until it was too late. Instead of water I used beef broth. The pork chops came out nicely and they had a nice sweet flavor to them but it wasn't too sweet.

  4. Great tasting and easy to do. I used regular onions which were a little too strong for our taste. Next time I will use a milder, sweet onion. I will make this recipe again.

Tweaks

  1. Overall a super easy and tasty recipe. The only thing I didn't care for was using water as the base - the sauce was just a bit thin for my liking. I did add some garlic and bell peppers and used only one onion instead.

  2. I didn't have brown sugar so I used a bit of Light Maple Syrup instead. I also added applesauce to the top of each chop to add a little extra flavor. My family is very picky so they pushed the applesauce off the meat when it was time to eat but the flavor was great.
