This recipe was very tasty and easy to put together. We used 4 pork loin centre cut chops, 1/2 of a large red onion (next time I will use 2 onions as stated, as they give a nice flavour and are good to eat with every bite!)and 1/2 the amount of salt. Our cooking time was the 1 hour exactly and the chops were nice and tender.Served with a baby greens salad.

I made these for dinner the other night and served it with some green beans (Green Beans). I did not brown my pork chops because I didn't read that part until it was too late. Instead of water I used beef broth. The pork chops came out nicely and they had a nice sweet flavor to them but it wasn't too sweet.

Great tasting and easy to do. I used regular onions which were a little too strong for our taste. Next time I will use a milder, sweet onion. I will make this recipe again.

Hi Charlotte J. I followed your recipe to the letter and the pork chops were tender and delicious! My children, who never liked pork chops, enjoyed them so much that they asked for more. In fact, they went over so well, that I bought more pork chops today. Thank you for sharing your great recipe.

This was very good and my whole family enjoyed it, which is amazing. Next time I will try reducing the liquid in half and I will try baking them for less time; they were a little dry.

I didn't have brown sugar so I used a bit of Light Maple Syrup instead. I also added applesauce to the top of each chop to add a little extra flavor. My family is very picky so they pushed the applesauce off the meat when it was time to eat but the flavor was great.

The taste was interesting but seemed kind of bland to me. Reminded me of a sweet version of the ketchup onion mixture on a mcdonalds burger. Might tinker with it and see if its better.

I made this tonight after realizing I was missing key ingredients for my planned meal. This is a great recipe--simple ingredients but nicely balanced. I added some sliced red bell peppers along with sweet onions. It made a very colorful, flavorful dish! Served with mashed potatoes and sugar snap peas. My husband wanted to know the name of recipe, so he could be sure to tell me exactly what he wants for dinner next time I ask! Thanks for posting!

We LOVED these!!! I baked mine for 40 minutes, though, and probably could've done less than that. 35 minutes would've been better, but these were VERY GOOD!! So happy to find a new way to cook them!! Thanks so much! A definate keeper!! :)

I thought these were very good. I followed the recipe, except for browning the pork chops. I didn't see it and I don't think it made one bit of difference. They were tender, ever so slightly sweet and the onions on top made it extra tasty. Thanks for a great, easy recipe!

Very good, but the ketchup didn't go over well. Will make the same way with much less ketchup or none next time. Very easy though and good!
