Can't believe this simple recipe turned out into a delicious meal and I didn't even used fresh pesto (got it at store). Followed instructions and seasoned with salt before put it in the oven.

I had a huge batch of freshly made pesto and wanted to use some it for dinner, but didn't want pasta. This was amazing and so quick and easy. I only did 2 breasts since there are just the two of us, I cut the recipe in half except for I used more than 1/2 of the amount of pesto called for. I substituted smoked provolone and shaved parmesan for the mozzarella because IMO mozzarella is tasteless. It was amazing! I was told to put this recipe in the 'keeper' file, which is the highest compliment in this house.

This really made the chicken breast tender and moist. I used 2 breasts and followed the rest of the recipe. Good tasting!

Simple, fast & delicious!! I prefer chicken thighs & used that instead, topped it with the tomato slices & shredded Parmesan (didn't have mozzarella). I liked how the oven cooked the tomato, adding to the pesto goodness. Served with a salad & pan fried gnocchi. Definitely a great recipe for both entertaining as well as a nice weeknight dinner. Thanks Tish!

I loved this SIMPLE recipe! I did saute the chicken first and then covered with pesto, tomatoes, cheese and baked. I will definitely make this again.

Thanks for the recipe, it was really easy and a good dinner overall. Maybe I'm dumb, but I read "baking sheet" and used a baking sheet with no rims, and the juice and the oil went all over the inside of the oven, so I wish I had used a Pyrex or one of the other pans I own. I think "sheet" made this amateur go awry!

My boyfriend does not like tomatoes, so I subbed roasted red pepper out on his pieces. He loved it!

This smelled amazing. My family did not care for the tomatoes on top. Also I was expecting more flavor. Could be because I used store bought pesto. Next time I will make homemade pesto.

Made this with P90x Pesto so less fat. I added 1 T of olive oil in the pan. I also only had string light cheese to top it with. Still Delicious.
