Just made this recipe today. I used Cavanaugh smoked sausage and chopped one medium onion and added instead of the French-fried onions in the beginning mixing. Also mixed half can cream of celery soup with half can cream of mushroom soup and used 2-1/2 cups milk instead of 1-1/2 cups. I baked in 13x9 dish lined with aluminum foil to save on cleanup. This had an incredible blend of flavors and will definitely be a much-repeated recipe! The topping of French-fried onions gave the finishing touch to a superb one-dish meal. Thanks a bunch!

This was a fast and easy recipe for those nights when you're rushing around. I thought it needed a little more spice, so I will probably tweak it a bit the next time around.
