    OPTIONS

    • 1 large apple, peeled, cored and sliced, can be substituted for the peaches

    Directions:

      Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

      Spread cream cheese over both sides of bread slices.
    3. 3
      Place bread in 13X9 inch baking pan.
    4. 4
      Prick bread slices several times.
    5. 5
      Top with peach slices.
    6. 6
      Sprinkle nuts over peaches
    7. 7
      In large bowl, whisk eggs, milk, syrup, butter, sugar, cinnamon and vanilla.

      Pour mixture over bread.

      Bake 20-30 minutes or until set in center.

      I used reduced-fat cream cheese, skim milk, no nuts and I omitted the sugar since there is already maple syrup. It's very yummy. Even DH likes that (and usually he doesn't care of cream cheese). Thanks Nimz. Made for Gimme 5 tag game

      This was so good! I used slivered almonds for the nuts which were so good and toasty. Direction #7 says to whisk in the butter, but it's not listed in the ingredients, so I didn't use any. Would be perfect for a special brunch. Thanks for sharing this yummy recipe!

      What a great, easy recipe. Made this for breakfast on Sunday and my family applauded! Very rich-tasting and greater than the sum of its parts. This could easily be dessert. A keeper.
