After you reviewed my recipe for the Philly Cheesesteak, I looked at your recipes & this one is really GREAT! Since you like to cook & eat as I do, check out my other recipes & let me know what you think. Alan Leonetti

This is an excellent side dish that goes with just about any meal. Sauteing the onions brings out their sweetness. Then when you add the rest of the ingredient, well, it just puts this dish "over the top" with it's rich creamy/cheesing goodness. Even those who say they don't like onions will love this dish. This is a winner, KPD. Thanks for sharing and thank your mother too.

A luscious treat for the onion-lovers! After reading a previous review, I decided to dice my onions. It was easier to put onto bread. This would be a nice holiday or potluck dish. Thanx for sharing!

These onions are soooo good! It's kind of like a french onion soup without the liquid. I put this on toasted slices of french bread. I think next time I will dice the onions instead of slicing them in rings, I think it would be more of a spread then. But thanks for the awesome recipe!

KPD, you always have the best recipes, especially when they come from your mom! I can't wait to try this spread on some crostini.
