    Ingredients:

    Directions:

    1. 1
      In a small bowl, combine mustard, oil, honey, sage, pepper and salt.
    2. 2
      Slice onions crosswise into 1/2 inch thick slices.
    3. 3
      Place in single layer in greased 13x9 inch baking dish.
    4. 4
      Brush generously with mustard mixture.
    5. 5
      Cover with foil, bake 425F (220C) oven for 15 minutes.
    6. 6
      Remove foil and bake 10-15 minutes longer or until tender.

      Sorry Elly, I thought I posted this earlier. :) Oh My.....I'm in 'Onion Heaven'. What a terrific and pretty way to serve onions as a side dish. I didn't have pure sage, but had poultry seasoning which contains sage, so used that. I'll have to get the pure sage for when I make it again. Thanks Elly, for a wonderful addition to our supper. Made for the May Pool Party Tag in the Diabetic Forum

      Since I'm the one writing the review, I'm giving it 5-stars, however my DH and DD didn't care for it. I used ground sage which gave it a different look ten the photo posted by Diana #2.
