I NEVER post reviews, but felt compelled in this case because I've been searching for a good meatball recipe for awhile. While I did modify it a bit the result was delicious. First I substituted half of the ground sirloin for half ground pork (I actually doubled recipe and added equal amount ground pork). Secondly I halved the Worcestershire. Finally I did bake for 20 minutes at 425, but then turned up to broil for about 4 minutes to get a nice crust on top. These are delicious plain or with a sauce.
Absolutely delicious. The first time I tried this recipe, it turned out well, but I thought it could use some improvement. The second time I made them I used 0.5 lb of sirloin and 0.75 lb of sweet Italian sausage. I used a lot of Worcestershire. I sprinkled bread crumbs on top before baking. They were a bit pink in the middle when I took them out at 10 minutes. After cooking them for another 5 minutes, they came out with a delightful crisp on the outside while being tender and juicy on the inside. Perfect!
I'm not very good at cooking, but I managed to make these, and they were delicious! I was worried the Worcestershire sauce would be overwhelming, but it was perfect.
Quick, easy, and moist! I'm not by any means a skilled cook, so if I say it's easy, it really is. I used 1 lb 96/4 ground beef and italian seasoned breadcrumbs b/c it's what I had, I adjusted most of the other ingredients accordingly and this made 14 meatballs for me. I added a little onion powder and italian seasoning and these were done perfectly in 15 minutes at 425! Haven't tried them out on the family yet, but I'm hopeful my picky eaters will enjoy them.
just made them, and loved it! I added salt and onion. I used plain bread crumbs, and my sause was a spicy tomato!
These are easy & excellent! Very moist! I added some mozzarella cheese bits and they were oozing with deliciousness, had it with marinara sauce.
Mine are in the oven now. I added half a small white onion, salt & pepper as well. They smell pretty good, if I do say so myself. Can't wait to try them :)
This was a great and simple recipe. I didn't quite have 1 1/4 pound of beef, so I used 1/4 pound of pork in this. Added a little Italian seasoning, and it turned out great! Thank you for posting
