ingredients
- 2 lbs mahi mahi (4 fillets)
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1⁄4 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1⁄4 cup white onion, finely chopped
- breadcrumbs
directions
- Preheat oven to 425°F.
- Rinse fish and put in a baking dish. Squeeze lemon juice on fish then sprinkle with garlic salt and pepper.
- Mix mayonnaise and chopped onions and spread on fish. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs and bake at 425°F for 25 minutes.

Thought the recipe was pretty simplistic. It was. But.....it turned out really very well. The flavor of the fish came through with good compliment from the mayo onion mix and seasonings. The cooking time is spot on, the fish was very good. Will use again. Made a balsamic vinaigrette salad to pair with it and and a hoppy IPA to wash it down. Great Sunday meal...

5 stars - Wonderful ! Perfect as posted and plan to make this recipe again!
4 stars - Liked it a lot and will make again but will probably alter the recipe slightly.
3 stars - OK but to make it again would require major changes to the original recipe to suit my tastes.
2 stars - Really didn't like it. Could be personal preference or the recipe just didn't meet expectations.
