I must admit, I had my qualms about tomato soup and macaroni and cheese, together but I tried it and its GREAT!! Thanks for sharing!

Now, this is comfort food!!!! You're probably gonna think I'm nuts, but here's what I did. In the freezer I had some small shells and some penne that were left over. I mixed both of them together and used diced tomatoes with jalapenos, (I didn't have any stewed tomatoes on hand). It came out so good. The left overs were just as good, if not better. Sometimes when I re-heat my mac & cheese it tends to dry out, but not this recipe...it was just yummy. Thanks CountryLady

What a wonderful, tasty way to serve macaroni! I was looking for something to go with meatloaf and decided to give this a try! Wow.. I certainly wasn't sorry. I didn't change a thing in the recipe and the macaroni was wonderful! Because there is only two of us, we've got lots of leftovers, which is not a bad thing! Thanks for this easy and tasty recipe, CountryLady. I certainly will be making it again!

Used fresh tomatoes. Made it the night before for my baby. He loves pasta and cheese. I did fry some onions and added the tomatoes. Cooked the tomatoes till they were done well. Added a little tomato soup in a sachet (no can) to this and also some cubed carrots and diced chicken (my son likes his meat). Then proceeded with the recipe (adding this mix to the macaroni and egg). It was really very very good. He will be asking for more of this quite often if I know him and I do. :) Fay

Simple, inexpensive meal! I didn't have stewed tomatoes so used a 32 oz can of crushed tomatoes. Seemed to work out well. Tasty with a sprinkle of garlic salt!

Made this for my sister and her kids, my kids don't like tomatoes. She loved it and gave it a high five. Thanks.

This was good. I was making this as a main dish for my family of 5 and figured like most recipes it wouldn't make enough. So I doubled it and served it with corn on the cob. Well, we ended up eating the leftovers as a side for most of the week. I even had it for lunch for a couple of days:P
The recipe was quite good. I made a couple minor adjustments. I used fresh tomatoes (eight cups in the doubled recipe). I also subbed the tomato soup with Specialty Soup Substitutes - Cream.
The only thing I would do differently next time is puree the tomatoes as I have two boys who don't like them. And yes, I still made them eat it at each meal;P Trust me; that did not effect the abundance this made. Thank you CountryLady!
Oh! and it tastes great with Red Hot!

I really like this because it's close to being as comforting as a full on mac and cheese, but is much healthier with only 1 cup of cheddar. Other reviewers' suggestions to add ground beef or chicken are good ones - I think I'll try that next time. Thanks for an easy recipe made from ingredients mostly on hand.

I felt this dish was more a tomato pasta than macaroni and cheese. It was a little bland for our tastes.

This was pretty good. It was more tomatoe-y than cheese-y. However, the stewed tomatoes have a fantastic taste!

I've made this several times and can't believe I didn't review it. This is one of the few dishes the whole family enjoys. The kids even eat it which makes it a staple in this house! I follow the directions exactly, but brown a pound of ground beef and add it in as well. The tomato soup adds a nice sweetness that I believe helps the kids enjoy it. Very tasty!!!

This was good. I had 5 tomatoes that I needed to use so I searched and found this. I didn't have breadcrumbs and used crackers instead. I also added 2 minced garlic cloves and 2 tbsp garlic salt. Thanks Hill Family

Tried your recipe for the first time because I'd never heard of the tin of tomato soup before. I love just plain mac and tomatoes and yours was very good, better than I thought it would be..worried about the tomato soup...lol.. And it made lots so I have leftovers which I love. Next time I'll double the cheese and add some s&p...the bread crumbs made a nice crunch on the top...

Easy & tasty, but I don;t get what the eggs are for, they don't seems to hold anything together since they are cooked & stired with the Mac & milk, like scrambled eggs.
