This mac n' cheese is so easy to make, I made it for my husband and he loved it, just like his mom used to make!
- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 1⁄2 cups milk
- 8 ounces Velveeta cheese
- salt and pepper
- Cook macaroni according to package directions, drain, pour into casserole dish and add milk, cheese, salt-pepper, mix thoroughly.
- Dot with butter, top with bread crumbs.
- Bake 30 minutes at 325-350 degrees.

I added less milk than called for, probably about 2 cups. We love Velveeta so I used the 8 oz. of Velveeta and then added in about 4 oz. Sharp Cheddar cheese for a little zip. It was very tasty indeed!
This is the worst mac and cheese i've ever tried! Why all that milk? it came out sloppy and tasteless. Would be better with no milk at all.
