  1. I just heard about this recipe on Christmas Eve from our Nephew's wife. Her mom always used Wheaties instead of Corn Flakes and it sounded delicious but she did not know how long to bake it since she would just keep on check in out in the oven. Now that I have this complete recipe I can try it with confidence. Oh buy the way, I was told when you dip it in ketchup to be sure to get a lot of in on the hot dog.

  2. This may have been "operator error", but I could not get the ketchup or cornflakes to really stick to the hotdogs. I finally gave up, rinsed them off and baked em "naked". The concept seemed good, (Especially for a home daycare like mine...what's better than not having to buy a bun) but alas it didn't work for me. And it was really more work than I anticipated. Probably won't try again unless I have more time and can figure out how to get them to stick. Thanks anyway.

  3. Hi Dorothy, This is the recipe my grandmother use to make for me when I was a kid. I loved it and still do. She sometimes added a little sliver of cheese before dipping in ketchup and cornflakes, a really cheap meal for kids,my kids love it too. Good with fries, or mac and cheese. Thanks for the memory!!
