  • Mince garlic and combine with melted butter in a large mixing bowl.
  • Add potatoes and toss well to coat.
  • Mix remaining ingredients and add to potato mixture and toss well.
  • Turn potatoes out onto greased cookie sheet.
  • Bake at 375° for 1 hour or until cooked through, turning 2 to 3 times while baking.

  2. Second time I have made them. Twice now in 3 weeks. We LOVE them and thank you for this recipe side idea. I also use russet potatoes and adjust time and the amount of butter, garlic, parmesan and bread crumbs. A winner recipe!
     
  3. These were a hit in my house. I didn't have any baby reds or whites so I just used Idahoan russets and cut them a bit smaller. They were very tasty and a nice change. Will definitely make these again. Thanks for posting this.
     
  4. This will become a staple in our house. I had to bump up the temperature to 400 degrees to get the crispiness I wanted, but maybe that was just my oven. The breadcrumbs were a really tasty addition to the dish. Thanks for posting, Marie! :)
     
  5. these potatoes were just so good!!! the reason i'm giving this a four is ,because i don't like the minced garlic i used garlic powder and i added some italian seasoning to the bread/parmesan mixture.this will be a repeat often at our home thank you so much for posting.

Tweaks

  1. Place the buttered potatoes on a baking pan, then sprinkle the mixture of crumbs, cheese, salt, pepper and paprika, and bake as directed.
