I only made the fish part of this recipe so am not reviewing with stars to be fair. I used a unseasoned bread crumbs and cracker crumb mixture for the coating. The mayo & crumb mixture worked well on the fish. I did feel it needed seasoning. I realized the recipe probably was calling for a seasoned prepared coating mix afterwards. I do plan to play with this recipe again. Reviewed for ZWT3.

I grabbed this recipe in a hurry and realised at the last minute when I wento t make it that I didn't actually know what coating mix was. I do know it's probably not available here in NL because I'm good at paying attention to new stuff in our supermarkets LOL. In it's place I used a little flour, fine bread crumbs, some onion powder and herbs. I followed the rest of the recipe as given. The potatoes were nice but nothing to rave about but the fish was really very tasty, and DH mentioned several times that the fish was really good indeed. However, I have no way to tell if my changes would have adversely affected the correct taste so I am writing only a comment and not giving stars. I can only say that the way I made it suited the fish a LOT better than the potatoes and that the fish at least will be repeated. Please DO realise that I may have inadvertantly changed the recipe beyond recognition(apologies) and that you need to make this and judge for yourself. Thanks!
