Serves nice as brunch. Plan ahead though- it needs to be refrigerated overnight before baking.
- 8 slices white bread, cubed
- 8 eggs
- 4 cups milk
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
- 2 teaspoons dry mustard
- 2 cups cubed ham or 2 cups bacon or 2 cups sausage, cooked
- Blend all ingredients together except cheese.
- Pour into 9x13 inch buttered pan.
- Refrigerate overnight.
- Sprinkle with grated cheese before baking at 450 degrees for 30 minutes.
