Oops. ..it did not firm, I used Almond milk. Great as a hot drink though.

This turned out well for me. I didn't heat the milk first. I had a cold and wanted to make it quickly. I whisked everything together and poured it into a buttered 8 inch round cake pan. I set the 8 inch cake pan into a 10 inch cake pan and poured some boiling water in to make a bain-marie. The custard took a little longer to bake, 43 minutes total. After chilling the custard had a nice consistency. Thanks for sharing this simple but good recipe.

Thanks for submitting this delicious recipe. I'll have to make another batch to have some after it's cold, because it was such a hit while still warm!
