I was leery this recipe would really work but it did! It's not as rich as a regular custard but it is easy, inexpensive and good. I do wish I would have covered it in the fridge as the top got a little stiff. I'm glad I tried it though, thank you :) Made for PAC Spring 2011.

  1. Pour water into a mixing bowl and add milk. Stir to dissolve.
  2. Add eggs and beat well. Add sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and butter. Mis for about 2 minutes.
  3. Oil a casserole and pour in mixture. Make a water bath (1/2 way up casserole) with a larger pan.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes - until an inserted knife comes out clean. Cool 1-2 hours before serving.
