  1. This was an easy recipe using ingredients I keep on hand in the pantry. Perfect for a weeknight. Next time I will cook a few minutes less. At 20 minutes, the nuggets came out dry. Thanks for sharing your recipe.

  2. The whole family loved this. I used chicken tenders and did not cut them. I also used spray butter as suggested by another reviewer and it worked fine and cut out a lot of calories and fat. The only other thing I changed was to add some garlic powder and pepper to the mixture and use Italian seasoned bread crumbs (still added all the seasonings). Thanks!

  3. I made these tonight as my weekly snack group that I facilitate at work. Easy and fun to prepare, and very tender at the listed cooking time (20 minutes was perfect!). I doubled the recipe and used seasoned breadcrumbs (leaving out the dried herbs); served with honey mustard, ketchup, ranch dressing or hot sauce. Everyone enjoyed the taste. Thanks for posting this.

  4. Don't know what rock I just crawled out from under, but this was my very first try at homemade chicken nuggets. Wow, these were outstanding! Followed the recipe, used panko for the breadcrumbs and a parchment lined baking sheet. Turned the nuggets once, midway through the baking time. I never knew something so simple could be so much better than ANY chicken nugget I've ever had! 400 degrees for twenty minutes worked perfectly for mine. Cooked through, but not at all dry! Thanks, this won't be the first time I make these!!

  5. These were good! 20 mins was maybe a little long for the size of pieces I cut, cause they were a bit dry. Next time I'll do them less. thanks!

Tweaks

  1. Tried this with trout fillets, super good.

  2. quick, simple, uses ingredients i always have on-hand, and tasty! instead of using the melted butter, i sprayed the chicken pieces with spray butter to cut down on the fat. works great. once, i was out of breadcrumbs (how did that happen!) so i crushed up some croutons. that worked fine also. thanks for a fine recipe!
