Baked Chicken Liver Pate

- 1 medium onion
- 1 garlic clove
- 2 eggs
- 1 lb chicken liver
- 1⁄4 cup flour
- 1⁄2 teaspoon ginger
- 1⁄2 teaspoon allspice
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon white pepper
- 1⁄4 cup butter
- 1 cup heavy cream (regular milk works fine)
directions
- preheat oven to 325 degrees f.
- This recipe must be make in a blender.
- combine onion, garlic and eggs.
- blend at high speed for 1 minute.
- add livers and blend 2 minutes longer.
- add flour, spices salt, pepper, butter and cream.
- blend at high speed 1 or 2 minutes or until smooth.
- pour into a well-greased casserole dish or bread pan.
- cover with lid or foil.
- bake in a water bath for 3 hours.
- remove cover and cool.
- once cooled to room temperature cover and place in fridge overnight.
- loosen sides and place on serving plate.
