Perfect, tasty, and full of flavor these drumsticks are! I followed this exactly and these were just so tasty, I kept a extra drumstick for myself tomorrow! Adored the ginger, it was an undercurrent and very receptive to the rest of the ingredients. Just try this, and you will be going, "Yum, yum, yum...all the way to the barn!! Great BBQ type of chicken. I made 1/2 of the recipe and also used ketchup in place of the tomato sauce and used a paste of fresh ginger in a tube, but otherwise followed as written using chicken wings. After the baking time, I turned on the broiler for a min or two to add a little more color/browning. Thanks for sharing the recipe. Made for Holiday Tag Game.

This went over like gangbusters with my two picky eaters. I followed the recipe pretty closely but used catsup in place of the tomato sauce and sugar. Also, used dry spices for the garlic and ginger. Will definitely try with fresh next time. A real crowd pleaser and definite repeater in this household. Thank you!

Totally DELICIOUS!!! Loved by both kids and adults! I removed the skin and still slashed the meat. I did not have tomato sauce and substituted with just 1 tbsp ketchup; I used mild chili sauce. This is a keeper and I will for sure be making this again. Thanks for sharing!

These were so easy to make. I followed the recipe almost exactly I didn't slash the drumsticks as I removed the skin from them before rubbing in the marinade, but not slashing the skin was only thing different that I did. I kept basting the drumsticks with the left over marinade during cooking, and the flavours were wonderful. The aroma of the marinade and chicken cooking together smelt fantastic. This is such an easy and not too mention quick recipe which I will be using again. I made these for DH to take to work for lunch, he was looking forward to these...... ummmm guess who walked out the door without his lunch!!!!! lol Ahh well the whole family is home today....looks like DH won't get a look in!!!!! Thanks Pat.

Delicious! Easy to make, and really tastey. This is an economical, yummy dish! It used everything I normally have in my fridge, pantry, or freezer...no trip to the store for me :) ! Thanks for sharing a great drumstick recipe...loved slashing the meat to let the marinade in!

Yum! I cut the serving size down to one person and I made this just for me. I don't eat red meat and I cooked a rib eye roast for Hubby and Little Miss (DD) so I wanted some chicken. The flavours were so yummy and it was so easy to prepare only took me less then five minutes before it was in the oven. I served the chicken with roast potatoes and carrots and left overs of Tabbouleh. Thanks I'mPat for posting a yummy recipe.

Very easy and tasty. I used 5 drumsticks, but did the whole amount for the sauce. I almost didn't get the photo. Thanks for posting. Made for Make My Recipe.
