Slash each drumstick in 3 places with a sharp knife.
2
In a bowl combine all the ingredients and work the marinade into the drumstick meat.
3
Lay the drumsticks out in a single layer in a shallow pan or on a baking tray, leaving a little space between each if possible and pour over any excess marinade.
4
Bake at 180C for 20 to 30 minutes or until golden brown and bubbling (time will depend on size of drumsticks).
Perfect, tasty, and full of flavor these drumsticks are! I followed this exactly and these were just so tasty, I kept a extra drumstick for myself tomorrow! Adored the ginger, it was an undercurrent and very receptive to the rest of the ingredients. Just try this, and you will be going, "Yum, yum, yum...all the way to the barn!!

This went over like gangbusters with my two picky eaters. I followed the recipe pretty closely but used catsup in place of the tomato sauce and sugar. Also, used dry spices for the garlic and ginger. Will definitely try with fresh next time. A real crowd pleaser and definite repeater in this household. Thank you!

Totally DELICIOUS!!! Loved by both kids and adults! I removed the skin and still slashed the meat. I did not have tomato sauce and substituted with just 1 tbsp ketchup; I used mild chili sauce. This is a keeper and I will for sure be making this again. Thanks for sharing!
