Made this recipe "as is" except used Fettuccine noodles because I had on them hand. Very tasty recipe and the family enjoyed it very much. Great flavor and I loved the white cheddar in the recipe.

This turned out really well! Used leftover ham from freezer. Have a little leftover to freeze for future.

Very versatile recipe. I used spaghetti, no mushrooms, had to use dehydrated onions, broccoli and white wine. I refused to go to the store and was using what I had on hand. I loved how easy it was to put together and left for my DD to bake while I was at work. The flavors were great together and a great way to use up leftovers. Thanks for posting SC.

I've made something really pretty similar over the years so I adapted this recipe to match my families likes such as omitting the mushroom and using penne pasta. This recipe is different in one particular way which I really appreciate and had not thought of before. Instead of making a roux milk/cream, it uses chicken stock as the base and adds just a splash of cream. I just love that!

Excellent. Had a bag of frozen diced baked ham in the freezer and didn't know what to do with it. This was perfect. I made it as directed also added some garlic powder.... Thanks for posting another winner Sarasota!!

I made this tonight for dinner using some leftover ham. I didn't have linguine so I used spaghetti and green onions in place of a regular onion. I used 5% half and half in place of the heavy cream and 1 cup of fresh parmesan cheese (1/2 for the mixture and 1/2 sprinkled on top) and skipped the other cheese. I think I only had enough sherry to make 2 tbsp so that is all the casserole got. My family gave this two thumbs up. I froze the rest of the ham to make this dish again. Thanks for posting.
