This turned out great, but not sure it was worth all the effort. To boil, fry and bake was a bit much for a simple result. That being said it did taste great and would be wonderful if you have leftover cooked cauliflower. I used Mozzarella cheese, since I made this for my ZWT7 visit to Italy.

  1. Preheat oven to 400.
  2. Cover cauliflower with salted water and boil 15 minutes or until partly done. Drain.
  3. Cut into flowerets and deep fry in oil until golden brown.
  4. Arrange in shallow oven proof dish. Sprinkle with cheese and salt.
  5. Bake until cheese is melted 5-10 minutes. Serve immediately.
