  • 8 ounces scrod fish
  • butter, as needed
  • Ritz cracker crumbs, as needed

directions

  • Dip scrod in butter and then Ritz crumbs.
  • Spray pan with cooking spray and bake in 475 degree oven for approximately 12 minutes till done.

  1. Easy recipe and very tasty. I changed a bit: I baked in a 400 degree oven for 20 minutes, since I thought 475 would have been too hot an oven for this dish. The fish came out beautifully, not dry at all. The butter is a nice compliment to this type of fish--a white fish and not one of these "fishy" fishes at all. Thanks for posting.
     
  2. Very easy to make. Added a little sprinkling of shreddded parmesan chesse. Excellent.
     
  3. The fish monger at the grocery I shopped always recommend that I try this when I lived in Boston...I finally did and it was really good. So simple, but really very good.

I'm disable now for a couple years. I was in sales for 25 years and was a policeman for 5 years before that and just floated around a few years before that.
