Easy recipe and very tasty. I changed a bit: I baked in a 400 degree oven for 20 minutes, since I thought 475 would have been too hot an oven for this dish. The fish came out beautifully, not dry at all. The butter is a nice compliment to this type of fish--a white fish and not one of these "fishy" fishes at all. Thanks for posting.

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 8 ounces scrod fish
  • butter, as needed
  • Ritz cracker crumbs, as needed


  1. Dip scrod in butter and then Ritz crumbs.
  2. Spray pan with cooking spray and bake in 475 degree oven for approximately 12 minutes till done.
