Oh my, this is one of the best crumbles I have ever made! And perfect right now with all the summer berries available. In answer to the other reviewer, I think fudge and pudding might just refer to dessert in the UK (not chocolate, for example). I used only a third of the butter, and it worked fine. The crust was crispy and had the perfect balance of everything. This was magnificent with low fat vanilla ice cream.

I love the taste of this crumble Lindsey. I"m not sure where the fudge part comes in? But, I followed your recipe as written only omitting the nuts. A great use of my raspberries, blackberries and blueberries that I have on hand in the freezer for just such recipes. This went great over vanilla icecream. I was also pleased to see the use of demerara sugar for a change. i don't see that used often enough and I just love it. Thanks!Made for HolidayTag.
